Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Zhang Fan (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the Pixel Boost iPhone application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Overview

Pixel Boost is an on-device photo utility. Most image processing occurs locally on your device. We do not operate a user account system and do not claim to train cloud AI models on your photos.

2. Information We Access or Process

Photos Library

Purpose: Import images you select and, when you choose, save exported social or print images back to Photos. Access occurs only with your permission and only for the images you select or export.

Files / Document Picker

Purpose: Import images or save PDF and PNG files when you choose Files as the destination.

On-Device Image Processing

Purpose: Upscale, enhance, crop, reframe, and compose layers (including your logos, text, and other overlays) entirely or primarily on your device.

Local Project Library

Purpose: Store project metadata and associated image files on your device so you can return to previous work. This data remains on your device unless you delete it or remove the App.

Purchase and Entitlement Status

Purpose: Determine Free versus Pro access via Apple StoreKit. We receive confirmation of purchase/subscription status from Apple; we do not receive your full payment card details.

Advertising-Related Data (Free users only)

If you use the Free version, non-blocking ads (for example via AppLovin) may be shown. If you choose personalized advertising, the App may request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission. When granted, advertising identifiers and limited device information may be used by the ad partner to serve and measure ads. Pro users are not shown ads on the relevant placement and are not prompted for tracking for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above solely to:

• Provide and operate the App’s features;
• Process your image imports, enhancements, and exports at your direction;
• Manage Free and Pro entitlements;
• Display advertisements to Free users (when applicable);
• Respond to support requests you send us;
• Comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Storage and Retention

Project data and imported/exported images are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a cloud copy of your photo library or projects as part of the core service described in this Policy.

You may delete projects within the App or remove the App to delete local data. Support communications you send to solalandscape0711@gmail.com may be retained as needed to respond to you and for legitimate business records.

5. Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit: Handles in-app purchases and subscriptions.
• Ad partners (e.g., AppLovin) (Free users): May process advertising identifiers and related data when personalized ads and ATT permission are involved. Their practices are governed by their own privacy policies.

We do not control third-party websites or services you may reach via links.

6. Your Choices and Rights

• You control Photo Library and Files access through iOS Settings.
• You can limit ad tracking via iOS App Tracking Transparency and system settings.
• You may restore purchases, manage subscriptions, or delete the App at any time.
• Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at solalandscape0711@gmail.com.

Because most photo processing and project storage occur on device, many data requests are best handled directly by you on your device.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

8. International Users

The App is distributed via the Apple App Store. Information may be processed in the country where you use the App or where our service providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The revised version will be indicated by a new “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the App or other reasonable means. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
